![]() “You risked your life, but what else hve you ever risked? Have you risked disapproval? Have yo ever risked economic security? Have you ever risked a belief? I see nothing particularly courageous about risking one's life. So you lose it, you go to your hero's heaven and everything is milk and honey 'til the end of time. Right? You get your reward and suffer no earthly consequences. That's not courage. Real courage is risking something that might force you to rethink your thoughts and suffer change and stretch consciousness. Real courage is risking one's clichés.” Tom Robbins Another Roadside Attraction Virgo is a transitional archetype from the subjective experiences of Aries through Leo to the objective experiences of Libra through Pisces. In her transitional role Virgo infuses the consciousness with the necessary task of self-reflection and analysis of the component parts of one’s worldview. Important questions like the ones above are asked through the Virgo energy in order to clarify and crystallize what is essential about ones ideas in relation to others. That’s the key in relation to others for as Virgo transitions to Libra (and remember each one of us encompasses all of these energies) to Libra the focus is on comparing and contrasting worldviews in relationship to others. So there is the ever important task these next couple of days before the Libra Full Moon to clarify what is important and useful to you and your community. Virgo is traditionally associated with “work” and service. This is because naturally whatever has been created (Leo) through nurturing (Cancer) ideas (Gemini) founded on your values (Taurus) based on your will to project (Aries) must have some practical use. It must be put to this test so to speak. This is the realm of Virgo. There can be a tendency with Virgo Moon to be hard on one-self or to create crisis in experience. Keep this in mind over the next couple of days and remind yourself that the positive function of the energy is to bring to light that which is important and that which can be discarded about your ideas. Be nice to yourself or better yet: be nice to someone else! One of the things that Virgo likes more than anything is making others feel comfortable and happy. Engage in a random act (or several acts) of anonymous kindness…perform some service without anyone knowing…great ways to satisfy that enduring Virgo question is what I am doing worthwhile… This is your new blog post.
