How do you know that you know what you know? Do you just believe?
There are theories that address knowledge in philosophy, psychology, and religion that have existed or been discussed for thousands of years and yet there is still no consensus on a definition. Most of the definitions of knowledge have to do with experience, recognition, acquaintance with information, and familiarity with facts, data, and bodies of knowledge. Definitions for belief are only marginally different than those for knowledge. Belief according to this dictionary cites feelings more: confidence, trust, opinion, conviction that something is true. Belief does have more to do with faith in something while knowledge more with recognition of something however, with little doubt, they are closely entwined.
This month will be a useful time to reflect on these matters and find a way to communicate the intangible. Sagittarius and Jupiter (its planetary ruler) carry with them the fire of intuition and the security of faith. At the time of the New Moon Jupiter and Mercury are in mutual reception (meaning they are each in the sign associated with the other) showing a sort of communing. Mercury is associated with communication making this an essential part of the energy. Mystifying matters more is Mercury's square to Neptune. As if it isn't hard enough to deal with matters of knowledge, faith, belief, and truth but there also has to be the power of cosmic, all-oneness of creation drifting into the equation.
