First quarter square, Sun in libra, moon in capricorn, have all the energy to properly allocate sources of love. As the solar principle radiates the need and desire for harmony in all our relations, the lunar principle manages the challenging emotional responses that seeking harmony can ignite. It is a good and noble thing to crave balance and feelings of equity in love as much as it is to speak as the diplomat that can inhabit the soul of Capricorn. Love much, love greatly, and when the emotions come, for they must, let them come freely and let them go freely, send them where they belong, let them know theyre valued, but keep them under the management this resourceful principle.

There is much to ponder, much to refine, about this sacred thing called love and it’s eternal partner sex. They appear to be so intimately entwined in this chart as the sacred (Jupiter) is binding together love (Venus) and sex (Mars) in the most thoughtful and considerate Virgo. They’re in the 8th house of the chart for the 1st quarter moon set in San Francisco, which adds to the drama and taboo, making a powerful statement about the ways in which this can transform and overcome the original ego formed through the first 6 houses.

Of course Mercury (dispositor of all of the above) is in Libra as well so it just comes full circle back to managing the emotional responses that this energy stirs. It’s in the 9th house here so it’s seeking a higher truth than is readily or easily conveyed. Higher truths are always harder to say and grasp, part of the reason outlaws are so admired, however, the effort to articulate them can pose rewards such as a wo-man can ever know. these are the things that you can only see with your eyes closed and can only grasp when you let go.

Meanwhile, Saturn is in Sagittarius, strolls through the cathedral looking for pamphlets that the radical hippies, from the commune down the street, always leave behind in hopes of adding a congregant or two to there epiphanous stew. He brings them to the altar of St Francis to burn as an offering of devotion to doctrinal principles. Instead, after pausing and staring into the candlelight, he laughs, tears off his robe, and dances down the street to the commune.
