![]() That Pisces magic is making some interesting brews within its' mix: Sun joined Chiron yesterday illuminating creative self-expression of authentic spiritual healing and today the creative æsthetics of Venus join with what some refer to its higher vibration Neptune. Venus/Neptune will cast a gentle wave upon the water. Meetups with soul mates today (I don't mean just mere lovers) can have transcendant, dis-illusioned manifestations and inspire worthy visions. In other words...it's a good day to dance with the dolphins and sing with the little people.

![]() This morning around 5 AM PST the moon entered Libra relaxing some of the mental process associated with emotional awareness yet opening up another can of worms, those lovely matters of the heart. With Venus, ruler of Libra and affecting the relationship principle, in emotional, impressionable Pisces remember to continue reality checking your need these days to please. There could even be an element of extremity out there with all of the Pisces planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Neptune, and Chiron!!! yikes!) seeking to be sure about what they are feeling and that Libra moon over-reacting in one shape or form to be appreciated. Remember that Libra is about learning balance and usually in order to learn balance one needs to make mistakes through overcompensation, i.e., giving too much or perhaps withholding too much. The egoic lessons for the next couple of days are where and how to can find the middle road in emotional matters and especially in regards to relations with others. This can take place within intimate relationships, business partnerships, personal friendships, or acquaintances. Experiment...pay attention to how you relate. Write in down in a journal and come back to it later for reference. Regarless of the imbalance that Libra may pose, the lessons needed to be learned, and all of the possibly delusional, confusing, emotions of Pisces, I think it would not be bad form to follow this maxim though for the next 2 days (maybe always): When it doubt, hug it out. The air got even thicker out there with water today as Venus joined the crowd in Pisces. The detachment to all of those tanscendant emotions and sensations now is filtered and understood at a deeper level. There may be a slowing down of the processing of emotions, a longer time taken to understand and translate them into expressable feelings. For some of us that will be a beautiful thing however, for others, maybe most, confusion will reign. If you enjoy the mystery and can dissolve into it without needing to strictly define things then enjoy...just be careful not to get wrapped up in others delusions...
![]() The Virgo Full Moon is approaching and with it may come an intense desire to scrutinize, analyze, and refine into some culmination whatever it is that your consciousness attaches. The beautiful mystery of this (to me) is that as much as it may seem that we have a say in that focus there is an immense amount of unconscious impulse and direction that flows under the surface. That flow, that River of Blood of ancestral/collective consciousness through Neptune, that electrical circuit of personal consciousness through Uranus, and of course the storehouse of all past life memory, the seat of the should itself Pluto, carry such powerful influence in the ever-present now that much of the Virgo analysis, as well intentioned as it may be, misses its mark. I think that somehow, one way or another, each of knows that we can only know so much. Maybe lots of us don't articulate that as it may be a source of insecurity but I think that dynamic is there. Since we all have Virgo somewhere in our charts, mine is ruler of the 11th House which includes my Moon and Pluto, we all have the energy/need to refine, discriminate, analyze and serve in some shape or form and since that intellectual process can only go so far there is a natural stress induced. Opposite Virgo is always Pisces. Pisces seeks to serve just as much as Virgo however, rather than through the intellect Pisces draws on the more subtle, the ideals and impression that define existence. Pisces dreams where Virgo analyzes; sings vs articulates; dissolves vs organizes...both are important however, stress is created when they work against rather than with each other. Pisces, Neptune, and the 12th House are all associated with and can potentially activate the Pineal Gland and melatonin due, I think, to the stress of the dual desires of the soul to escape from and dissolve into the void. These dual desires create stress in the Pineal Gland that leads to the secretion of melatonin which leads to dreams, visions, and hallucinations, hence Pisces/Neptune's/ and the 12th House's correlation to delusion/illusion/illumination. Work with this energy today and during this Full Moon cycle and sit back and watch the illusory world of faries and dreams dance before you...fight it and beware of believing that which is not true... "When you think, you can’t see reality as it is, because your thinking becomes a barrier. Your thinking colours reality. When you feel, then too you cannot see reality as it is, because your eyes are full of tears and your heart is full ofemotions. When thinking and feeling both disappear, only then the contact — the contact with truth." Osho
With the Full Moon in Virgo there will be a strong emphasis on "thinking": exacting, refining, discriminating information. With so much energy in Pisces, a water sign which is the element associated with emotions, the Virgo function will be in full throttle sorting through that vast ocean. Careful treading that line... Oh no!!!! Mercury Retrograde!!! DOn't make any serious plans, hide from the world at large, get all of your packages delivered now, car serviced, important phone call and meeting out of the way...do it now before it's too late.
I gotta tell ya, I really don't get the panic. Well sort of, I GET it ,but I don't experience it the same way. Mercury Retrograde or any other astrological configuration doesn't make me quake in my shoes or fear for the present or future moments. Those planets out there are up to something however, I have a bit to say about how things are going to go as well. I am creating my own reality after all, aren't I? As a matter of fact, I rather enjoy when Mercury goes retrograde. I am not the most organized, straight thinking, logical, linear/materialist kind of thinker in the first place and quite frankly, most of the time, by most of the people, I am miss-understood anyway. There are those other spiral thinkers or circular talkers, or even better backwards talkers, with whom I have a much more mutual understanding. When Mercury is retrograde I find that the platform in this unsane society evens just a bit. The order is messed up, thinking and communication turn a bit "backwards" ...in other words it's our time! Mercury is also stationing in the wee hours of the morning at 19 degrees Pisces so this looks like the time to turn in and tune out. Turn in to your inner voices and look for, search for, or commune with that god/dess part of you and tune out the trance inducing, manipulating, soulless monster abstraction called society. There's an important message to be communicated here from the Lord of Karma after all, something to heed, and take responsibility for from Saturn retrograde as of Monday. Look, you know the truth anyway: Mercury Retrograde will be what you make it to be...expect lost calls, packages, and poor communication and you'll get just that; realize that there are deeper, poetic, mystical, and synchronistic events that all go together as a message from god...and I bet you have a grand ol' time. "Nature has not made any distinction: there are as many tear glands in male eyes as there are in female eyes. Tears are needed; tears do miracles. But repressing the tears is a subtle strategy to repress emotions. Tears are deep down connected with the heart. Heads don’t cry, only hearts. Repressing the tears is a subtle trick to repress the heart." Osho on Emotions
This morning and last night I mentioned the immense amount of emotional energy present in the current planetary patterns. You will notice this depending in part on the level of your own self-awareness and your ability to sense the world around you. Compounding the extreme element of water in the chart is the water Grand Trine which can act like a closed circuit of protective defenses, extreme sensitivity, and/or deep emotional awareness. The Moon this morning was also opposite Pluto adding a dimension of power and intensity to the entire affair. It's easy (and quite frankly understandable) to want to harden one's heart to such emotional outpouring and repress those feelings. There could certainly be an urge to do just that with Saturn retrograde in Scorpio so I think these wise words from Osho are apt to the occasion. In fact the symbolysm suggests that there is a collective need to come to terms with, to penetrate deep into the heart of the matter and take responsibility (Saturn) for these emotional wounds and commit (Saturn again) to the necessary healing. Emotions are strongly connected to the Moon, Cancer, and the 4th House. This area of life is associated with home, family, and ancestors and there is a strong connection here to Mother Earth. Mother Earth after all is the ultimate home we have in these physical forms, we are all part of this family here (Mitakuye Oyasin: all my relations say the Lakota), and our ancestors are intimately connected to the lands. Home is always a good place to start... ![]() Cancer Moon opposite Pluto in Capricorn and a water grand trine makes it a super sensitive morning. In interactions with others today, step back from your immediate emotions before deciding how to feel, things may not be as personal as they seem :) Venus in Aquarius should help if utilized. Moon/Water= emotions. Emotions are pre-verbal, without thought, inherent Venus/Earth (Taurus) or Air (Libra)= the psychology of listening, the interpretation of emotions and the way one relates within to events and determines response. To be on the safe side: Let the Aquarian skill to detach and objectify act through Venus in the interpretation of the massive emotions of the morning...and drink some chamomile tea :) What a way to start the day. Check out the raging emotions in this chart: a water grand trine among Saturn in Scorpio, Moon in Cancer and Mars in Pisces combined with that same Moon opposite Pluto! Eh gads, whatever is happening right now make sure you reality check it somehow.
Or go with it...This kind of emotional outpouring has the potential for passion and the type of intensity that leads to ecstasy in the right company. This is not the time for serious meetings. This is not the time for goal setting. This is not the time to organize the closet, desk, garage, etc. etc....
This is the time for daydreaming (thank god/dess), poetry, music, and meditation--If you're me or most of my friends it's usually that time anyway, it's just that this week the energy is prime time. If you're not one of us, this may be a frustrating, confusing, and muddled kind of week. The Sun entered Pisces Monday and is joined to day exactly with Neptune, powerfully emanating from its natural sign. The Sun in Pisces may illuminate dark centers of the emotional body that are typically hidden and murky and may create either a crisis or hysteria with the smallness of their being or awe with a sense of unity with all of creation. Remembering dreams may be on the upswing as well during this transit (they are for me!) and as good a time as any to revel in them. After spending years trying to interpret dreams or looking for messages or clues in them, I've learned to simply revel in the dream itself and appreciate the time that my dreambody was active. Dreams and visions in mediation may be affected due to the correlation of Neptune with the secretion of melatonin from the Pineal gland. Neptune is also associated with the crown chakra the activation of which can lead to the connection with other consciouness |
